Stop. Bouncing. Weights. In. The. Gym.

Throwing on some crazy weight in the gym may seem impressive, but it’s actually hindering your progress if it’s not executed correctly.

By eliminating tension at the bottom of the motion and using momentum, you’re truly not getting the full benefits of each rep.

I am NOT by any means saying not to train intensely, I’m also not saying to train with light weight and not focus on getting strong.

I AM saying if you’re bouncing weight every rep, you are shorting yourself compared to what you could get from using the actual muscle to slow and stop the weight each rep.

I know many may never try this route, but if they did I think the results will speak for themselves.

If you wanna be a bodybuilder, train like one. If you want to be a weight lifter, well you may just get good at lifting weights and not much else will happen. 🤷🏼‍♂️
